The Alaska Lighthouse Association is dedicated to the preservation of Alaska's maritime heritage, including the preservation and restoration of Alaska's lighthouses and maritime artifacts, promoting public access to and education about Alaska's Lighthouses, our rich maritime heritage, and the natural history of the marine environment and coastal rainforests of Southeast Alaska.  We were formed in 1997 and have over 100 members. Our long term goal is to protect and maintain this important historical resource, improve public access to it, and establish a maritime heritage museum and natural history center at the site.
